Got Questions? We’ve Got the Scoop!

What are the signs that my septic tank needs to be pumped?
If your drains are slow, toilets are gurgling, or you smell sewage near your yard or drainfield, your septic tank is likely full or backing up. Other signs include standing water near your tank or patches of extra green grass. If you’re experiencing any of these, it’s time to call for septic tank pumping in Central Texas.
Most residential septic tanks should be pumped every 3 to 5 years, depending on household size, water usage, and tank capacity. In Central Texas, where soil conditions can vary, regular pumping helps prevent costly backups and extends the life of your system.
A conventional system uses natural bacteria to break down waste, while an aerobic system uses oxygen to treat wastewater more efficiently. Aerobic systems require more frequent maintenance but are often required in areas with specific soil or drainage restrictions. EPIC Septic is fully licensed to service both system types.
