The People Behind Epic

Three Founders.
One Standard.

Marine Corps leadership, professional athletics, growth marketing, brand building, and franchise systems — all pointed at the same target: building the most trusted and recognizable septic and wastewater brand in America.

01

Founder · Young Professional Award Winner

Kyle Voss

Former Marine Captain. Former pro athlete. Full-time operator.

From Boots to Business.

Captain Kyle Voss began his professional career in competitive athletics. A standout collegiate athlete, he earned opportunities to compete at the highest levels of football, receiving invitations to NFL camps, earning roster spots in the CFL, and continuing his professional career overseas in Europe. The discipline, resilience, preparation, and competitive mindset required to perform at that level would become the foundation for how he approached every chapter that followed.

Voss

Service Before Self.

Following football, Kyle felt a strong desire to serve his country and pursue a new challenge rooted in leadership, purpose, and service.

He was commissioned as an Artillery Officer in the United States Marine Corps, ultimately serving as a Captain and leading organizations of 60–120 Marines.

His time in the Marine Corps further shaped his leadership philosophy around accountability, discipline, preparation, high standards, and taking care of the people entrusted to you.

Building Epic.

After transitioning from military service, Kyle entered the home-services industry and began applying those same principles to business.

He founded and scaled a multimillion-dollar roofing company operating throughout Texas, gaining firsthand experience in sales, operations, recruiting, leadership, customer acquisition, and the systems required to build and scale a service organization.

Kyle's path into the septic and wastewater industry began unexpectedly after a poor experience with a septic company at his own home.

What started as frustration quickly became curiosity.

As he began studying the industry, he saw an essential service category that millions of homeowners, businesses, and communities depend on every day, yet one that remained highly fragmented and lacked the professionalism, branding, technology, systems, and customer experience becoming standard across other areas of home services.

That realization led Kyle to found EPIC Septic & Service.

From the beginning, the vision for EPIC was bigger than building another local septic company. Kyle set out to create a nationally recognized septic and wastewater services brand capable of delivering a consistent, professional experience across residential, commercial, and municipal markets.

Today, EPIC provides services ranging from routine pumping, maintenance, inspections, and repairs to septic installation, advanced treatment systems, and complex commercial wastewater infrastructure projects.

The company is being built around strong operational systems, technology, training, strategic partnerships, and a culture of accountability designed to raise the standard of an industry that has historically lacked a recognizable national leader.

The Mission.

Kyle has been featured in Inc. Magazine and on the Owned and Operated podcast, a leading platform focused on entrepreneurs building and scaling home-service businesses.

His work has also helped establish relationships and partnerships with nationally recognized manufacturers and companies, including Mack Trucks.

From competing at the highest levels of athletics, to leading Marines, to building and scaling service businesses, Kyle's career has consistently been defined by embracing difficult challenges, building strong teams, and pursuing opportunities where better leadership and execution can create meaningful change.

Through EPIC Septic, his mission is not simply to build a successful company.

It is to help transform an overlooked but essential industry, create meaningful opportunities for employees, franchisees, veterans, entrepreneurs, and their families, and build an enduring national brand that people can trust.

For Kyle, the mission is simple: build something that matters, lead people well, and leave every organization, community, and industry better than he found it.

The Mission

Build the most trusted and recognizable septic service brand in America.
